Who Are The Illuminati?
It is not the American people who choose the President and Vice President
of the United States of America, but rather the super secret "shadow
government" called the Illuminati who choose them!
Various researchers, including, David Icke in his book "The Biggest Secret",
point out that all 43 men who were Presidents of the U.S.A. are related, and
that 33 of the Presidents can be traced back to the bloodline of Charlemagne,
who in the year 800 was crowned by Pope Leo III to be Holy Roman Emperor, the
first head of an empire that would last over 1000 years! This should be
setting off major alarm bells in your mind. Like this is no coincidence. The
odds of all 43 Presidents being related, and this just randomly happening,
are billions to one. Democratic and Republican candidates are "chosen" by the
"Elitist" super rich organization called the Illuminati. Democrats and
Republicans and the Illuminati would not want you to believe any of this.
They don't teach you this in schools and for good reason: the Illuminati want
to stay hidden. They do not want the masses to know that their small secret
organization even exists so they can covertly continue their rule.
This farce called an "election" shows that America is a one party state. Both
Democrats and Republicans work for the agenda of the Illuminati. They create
a charade that looks like each party is different, but in the end the
Democrats and Republicans vote for anything the Illuminati want in order to
push forward the Illuminati agenda for "total world domination". This is why
actors make such good politicians because this whole covert political charade
at this time is an "act" being played out to control all the people in a

challenging for most people to believe, but it's true and if given the chance

A true democracy is not a two party system. It is many parties with different
ideas that represent the will of the People, not the will of a few very rich
individuals and the corporations that they own. Why weren't members from
other political parties, who have candidates running for the Presidency,
allowed to participate in the Presidential debates? Because the Presidential
debates are a "staged Illuminati event" that's why. They would not allow any
other competing candidates to participate, just like they don't allow any of
the Illuminati controlled mass corporate media to cover and interview the
other smaller party candidates. By suppressing any competing candidates
outside of the Illuminati controlled Democratic and Republican parties, the
Illuminati eliminate the possibility that someone might actually tell the
American people the truth about 911, the war for oil in Iraq, the
unconstitutional income tax, the private banking cartel, called the Federal
Reserve that controls the money in the U.S., Patriot Acts 1 & 2,
etc.
Did you see any of the Conventions of any other party besides the Democrats
and Republicans on T.V. or in any other major mass media? Do you see media
coverage on a daily basis of any of the other Presidential candidates and
what they stand for? You rarely see or hear anything in the Illuminati
controlled mass media about any other candidates, you only see and hear Bush
and Kerry! Is this what you call "democracy"? No, it's called brainwashing
and mind control. If Bush and Kerry are the only candidates the Illuminati
controlled mass media shows everyday, and they both lie about the war in
Iraq, the war on "terror", Social Security, the budget deficit, unemployment,
the economy etc. without any real challenge to what they are saying by other
candidates or independent journalists, than the masses conclude that what
Bush and Kerry are saying is the ONLY "truth". If you tell people the same
lie over and over again and it goes unchallenged, that "lie" becomes the
people's "truth". Hitler was very successful at using this technique. Bush
Jr. has been extremely successful with this technique over the last four
years of his Presidency. And Bush Sr.summed it up when he once said "don't
confuse the People with the truth". Could you imagine Jeff Rense, David Icke,
Sherman Skolnick and some of the other truth seeking journalists and writers
being at a Bush or Kerry news conference and being able to ask them their
questions? Better yet what would it be like if these same men were able to
pose questions to Bush and Kerry in a prime time nationally televised debate?
There would probably be a People's revolt in the streets!!! Starting to get
the picture?
Another subversive thing that has been done in the U.S. "Presidential
elections" is that the Republican and Democratic parties have made laws that
"qualify" a political party to get tens of millions of U.S. taxpayer dollars
if they meet certain "criteria"..So the Republicans and Democrats and
Illuminati blatantly screw the People even more by using the People's own tax
dollars to keep out any legitimate candidates, who don't qualify for this
money, but who do really and truly desire to work for the benefit of the
people.
The Republican and Democratic parties spend billions of dollars on the
Presidential election, so if you can't get together a billion or two billion
dollars, you don't have a chance! Who could even afford to run in a
Presidential election? If you only have two parties, then rich people and the
Illuminati through their Fortune 500 corporations can make large
contributions to both parties and thereby control both parties. So no matter
who wins the election, these corporations and a few rich people get special
favors and laws passed to make themselves even richer.
The most blatant example of this was the $1.3 trillion dollar tax cut for the
rich.
Only approximately 43,000 rich families, including the Bush and Cheney
families, got to share over $1.2 of the $1.3 trillion dollars from this HUGE
tax cut, and these rich families each got millions of dollars. Each of the
over 100,000,000 American working "slaves" got a measly $300 or $600 check

to the rich tell the American citizens this? Of course not! And even though
the U.S. is running up huge budget deficits that could lead to a 1929 style
depression, Bush and the Democrats and Republicans will not rescind this huge

matter who wins, the Illuminati rule. Kerry's voting record is similar to
Bush's on many issues. Even President Bush points out that Kerry voted for
and supported Bush's war in Iraq. How much more blatant can they be than
that? When is the last time you checked out the voting record of the
candidate you support? The citizens are too lazy to check out their
candidate's voting record. They've been brainwashed to trust their
politicians who lie lie lie all the time. The People won't take the time to
check out the voting record of their favorite candidates and the Illuminati
know this, so the Illuminati can easily continue to con the people. If you
would take the time to check out your candidate's voting record you would see
this truth. You'll be amazed how they don't vote for the people's interests,
Republicans and Democrats vote for corporate and Illuminati interests!

Here you have a situation where out of ALL the possible people who could
qualify to run for President of the U.S.A., you wind up with two Skull and
Bones men. This is no accident. The chances of this "randomly happening" are
millions to one! Skull and Bones was founded by the Russel family, who made
their huge fortune illegally smuggling opium to China in the 1800's, thereby
causing another war called The Opium War. The flag that was flown on the

Now let's take a look at the Illuminati "staged" Presidential debates and see
how the American people allow themselves to be conned to believe that these
debates are so important and have so much relevance to the outcome of the
"election".
First and most important of all, the main question that the American people,
the media and the moderator of the Presidential debates should be asking
President Bush is: "who currently controls the multi-trillions of dollars of
Iraqi oil?" We're talking about trillions of dollars here, a super amount of
money that most people cannot even begin to comprehend. After all the war in
Iraq is about oil.. Both Bush and Cheney are both oil men and are very
closely connected to the major oil companies. Within a few weeks of Bush and
Cheney taking office in 2001, Vice President Cheney was pushing forward for
regime change in Iraq! After the U.S. military invaded and conquered Iraq, it
was reported that Vice President Cheney's Haliburton Corporation was given
control of all the Iraqi oil. How the trillions of dollars of Iraqi oil is
being divided up amongst the major U.S. oil companies, while thousands of
U.S.servicemen and tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi men, women and
children are being killed and wounded in Iraq should probably be the main
campaign issue. But the Illuminati "puppet" John Kerry in his campaign does
not say ONE word about this criminal conflict of interest.

In early 2001, before 911, Vice President Cheney had secret meetings in his
office with his "energy task force" and senior American oil company
executives. To this day, Vice President Cheney has fought every court attempt
to have him divulge the names of the people he met with at those meetings in
2001. This is not only suspicious, this is preposterous that the American
people have not even been made aware of the seriousness of Cheney's actions,
which more than likely was a catalyst for the war in Iraq! Cheney is suppose
to be working for the best interests of the American people and not for the
interests of a few huge oil companies. If Kerry was a "legitimate" candidate,
this would be one of his main campaign issues>>>bringing this
ridiculous situation to the attention of the American people and getting
Cheney to divulge not only the names of the people he met with, but also what
they were discussing? The price of OIL is in the news everyday. Oil just went
to over $50 a barrel. There are actions that the President could take to help
bring the price of oil down, like allowing millions of barrels of oil to be
released from the hundreds of millions of barrels that are held in U.S.
government reserves for national emergencies. Or whoever controls Iraqi oil
could be pumping large amounts of Iraqi oil and shipping it to the U.S.A. or
other countries to help bring the price down. Kerry could easily make this a
campaign issue since Bush is not doing anything about this situation because
the higher the price of oil, the more billions the Bush/Cheney connected oil
companies make!. You cannot get anymore blatant than all of this to show you
that Bush, Kerry and Cheney et al all work together for the benefit of the

In addition Kerry could say that he will hold investigations to see how Vice
President Cheney's Haliburton Corporation was given control of the trillions
of dollars of Iraqi oil. and also given billions of dollars of no-bid
contracts during the "rebuilding" of the Iraq that Bush and Cheney destroyed.
How sick can they be? Kerry could also say that he is going to have Bush's
father's Carlyle Group and Defense Secretary Rumsfeld's Bechtel Corporation
investigated for potential "conflicts of interest" for the multi billions of
dollars in contracts that these companies have also received from the war in
Iraq. Carlyle Group is one of the largest war companies in the world. The
more war Bush Jr. makes, the more billions that Bush Sr.and the Bush family
makes, which is a criminal conflict of interest.
Let's look at another important issue that Kerry could raise in his
campaign, but doesn't In his campaign and in the debates, Kerry could point
out that Kofi Anan, the Secretary General of the United Nations has recently
declared the horrendous Iraqi war to be illegal. Kerry could be bashing Bush
for illegally lying to start a multi-billion dollar "war for profit" in Iraq
that has cost the lives of over 1000 American servicemen and over 7000
wounded, plus the killing and maiming of tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi
men women and children. This is treason and crimes against humanity on the
part of Bush, Cheney et al., which Kerry or any courageous U.S.politician
could point out, but they don't. If the war has been determined to be
illegal, Kerry could be calling for Bush, Cheny et al to be removed from
office for lying to the American people and the World in their quest for
personal financial gain from the trillions of dollars of Iraqi oil and
multi-billion dollar military and "rebuilding" contracts.
Kerry could say that if he's elected, he will call for an immediate "cease
fire" and work with the Iraqi leadership all over their country along with
other connected Allied Nations to stop this 'illegal war" and the killing
asap and bring the American troops home within 6 months or less. With the
billions of dollars that are being wasted and "stolen" in Iraq, this could be
done, especially since the Iraqi people would love to see peace and an end to
the occupation and killing of their family and friends by the American troops
in their country However, remember as pointed out above, there are trillions
of dollars of oil and billions of dollars of military and rebuilding
contracts at stake here, so even if Kerry got elected, you will probably not
see any pullout of American troops in Iraq anytime soon!
Kerry could be pointing out to the American people that it is very risky and
not too smart to have a President who lies to start wars and who is in
control of thousands of U.S.Weapons of Mass Destruction, more WMD's than all
other Nations in the world combined. Kerry could say that there is the risk
that Bush could lie again and again and start more and more "wars for
profit", where you'll need so many soldiers to be used as " war fodder" by
wealthy owners of oil and war corporations, that the U.S. will have to
reinstate the draft. This could cost the lives of tens of thousands and maybe
even hundreds of thousands of American young men who really don't want to die
so Bush Sr's Carlyle Group and Vice President Cheney's Haliburton Corporation
and other Bush government connected corporations could make even more
multi-billions of dollars from more Bush wars!
But Kerry would never say any of these things because he's just another
Illuminati "puppet" doing exactly what he is told to do. Plus after the
fiasco in Florida in the 2000 election, many States rushed to buy billions of
dollars of electronic voting machines to be used in elections. These
electronic voting machines can be programmed to change votes with the click
of a mouse and leave no paper trail showing this fraud. Hardly any States
have put into place laws or safe guards that would prevent this potential
criminal action. Since the election has been purposely maneuvered to be so
close, it's even easier to control the outcome of the election in the U.S.A.!
With a click of a mouse, the Illuminati could put in place whichever
candidate they have already "chosen". There's only two possibilities, Bush or
Kerry. This method is a lot less "messy" than what happened in Florida in the
Illuminati controlled 2000 election.

Why I Hate Thanksgiving!

The year was 1492. The Taino-Arawak people of the Bahamas discovered
Christopher Columbus on their beach.
Historian Howard Zinn tells us how Arawak men and women, naked, tawny, and
full of wonder, emerged from their villages onto the island's beaches and
swam out to get a closer look at the strange big boat. When Columbus and his
sailors came ashore, carrying swords, speaking oddly, the Arawaks ran to
greet them, brought them food, water, gifts. Columbus later wrote of this in
his log. Here is what he wrote:
"They brought us parrots and balls of cotton and spears and many other
things, which they exchanged for the glass beads and hawks' bells. They
willingly traded everything they owned. They were well-built, with good
bodies and handsome features. They do not bear arms, and do not know them,
for I showed them a sword, they took it by the edge and cut themselves out of
ignorance. They have no iron. Their spears are made of sugar cane. They would
make fine servants. With 50 men we could subjugate them all and make them do whatever we want."

And so the conquest began, and the Thanatocracy -- the regime of death -- was inaugurated on the continent the Indians called "Turtle Island."
You probably already know a good piece of the story: How Columbus's Army
took Arawak and Taino people prisoners and insisted that they take him to the
source of their gold, which they used in tiny ornaments in their ears. And
how, with utter contempt and cruelty, Columbus took many more Indians
prisoners and put them aboard the Nina and the Pinta -- the Santa Maria
having run aground on the island of Hispañola (today, the Dominican
Republic and Haiti). When some refused to be taken prisoner, they were run
through with swords and bled to death. Then the Nina and the Pinta set sail
for the Azores and Spain. During the long voyage, many of the Indian
prisoners died. Here's part of Columbus's report to Queen Isabella and King
Ferdinand of Spain:
"The Indians are so naive and so free with their possessions that no one
who has not witnessed them would believe it. When you ask for something they
have, they never say no. To the contrary, they offer to share with anyone."
Columbus concluded his report by asking for a little help from the King and
Queen, and in return he would bring them "as much gold as they need, and as
many slaves as they ask."
Columbus returned to the New World -- "new" for Europeans, that is -- with
17 ships and more than 1,200 men. Their aim was clear: Slaves, and gold. They
went from island to island in the Caribbean, taking Indians as captives. But
word spread ahead of them. By the time they got to Fort Navidad on Haiti, the
Taino had risen up and killed all the sailors left behind on the last voyage,
after they had roamed the island in gangs raping women and taking children
and women as slaves. Columbus later wrote: "Let us in the name of the Holy
Trinity go on sending all the slaves that can be sold." The Indians began
fighting back, but were no match for the Spaniard conquerors, even though
they greatly outnumbered them. In eight years, Columbus's men murdered more
than 100,000 Indians on Haiti alone. Overall, dying as slaves in the mines,
or directly murdered, or from diseases brought to the Caribbean by the
Spaniards, over 3 million Indian people were murdered between 1494 and
1508.
What Columbus did to the Arawaks of the Bahamas and the Taino of the
Caribbean, Cortez did to the Aztecs of Mexico, Pizarro to the Incas of Peru,
and the English settlers of Virginia and Massachusetts to the Powhatans and
the Pequots. Literally millions of native peoples were slaughtered. And the
gold, slaves and other resources were used, in Europe, to spur the growth of
the new money economy rising out of feudalism. Karl Marx would later call
this "the primitive accumulation of capital." These were the violent
beginnings of an intricate system of technology, business, politics and
culture that would dominate the world for the next five centuries.
All of this were the preconditions for the first Thanksgiving. In the
North American English colonies, the pattern was set early, as Columbus had
set it in the islands of the Bahamas. In 1585, before there was any permanent
English settlement in Virginia, Richard Grenville landed there with seven
ships. The Indians he met were hospitable, but when one of them stole a small
silver cup, Grenville sacked and burned the whole Indian village.
The Jamestown colony was established in Virginia in 1607, inside the
territory of an Indian confederacy, led by the chief, Powhatan. Powhatan
watched the English settle on his people's land, but did not attack. And the
English began starving. Some of them ran away and joined the Indians, where
they would at least be fed. Indeed, throughout colonial times tens of
thousands of indentured servants, prisoners and slaves -- from Wales and
Scotland as well as from Africa -- ran away to live in Indian communities,
intermarry, and raise their children there.
In the summer of 1610 the governor of Jamestown colony asked Powhatan to
return the runaways, who were living fully among the Indians. Powhatan left
the choice to those who ran away, and none wanted to go back. The governor of
Jamestown then sent soldiers to take revenge. They descended on an Indian
community, killed 15 or 16 Indians, burned the houses, cut down the corn
growing around the village, took the female leader of the tribe and her
children into boats, then ended up throwing the children overboard and
shooting out their brains in the water. The female leader was later taken off
the boat and stabbed to death.
By 1621, the atrocities committed by the English had grown, and word
spread throughout the Indian villages. The Indians fought back, and killed
347 colonists. From then on it was total war. Not able to enslave the Indians
the English aristocracy decided to exterminate them.
And then the Pilgrims arrived.
When the Pilgrims came to New England they too were coming not to vacant
land but to territory inhabited by tribes of Indians. The story goes that the
Pilgrims, who were Christians of the Puritan sect, were fleeing religious
persecution in Europe. They had fled England and went to Holland, and from
there sailed aboard the Mayflower, where they landed at Plymouth Rock in what
is now Massachusetts.
Religious persecution or not, they immediately turned to their religion to
rationalize their persecution of others. They appealed to the Bible, Psalms
2:8: "Ask of me, and I shall give thee, the heathen for thine inheritance,
and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession." To justify their
use of force to take the land, they cited Romans 13:2: "Whosoever therefore
resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist
shall receive to themselves damnation."
The Puritans lived in uneasy truce with the Pequot Indians, who occupied
what is now southern Connecticut and Rhode Island. But they wanted them out
of the way; they wanted their land. And they seemed to want to establish
their rule firmly over Connecticut settlers in that area.
In 1636 an armed expedition left Boston to attack the Narragansett Indians
on Block Island. The English landed and killed some Indians, but the rest hid
in the thick forests of the island and the English went from one deserted
village to the next, destroying crops. Then they sailed back to the mainland
and raided Pequot villages along the coast, destroying crops again.
The English went on setting fire to wigwams of the village. They burned
village after village to the ground. As one of the leading theologians of his
day, Dr. Cotton Mather put it: "It was supposed that no less than 600 Pequot
souls were brought down to hell that day." And Cotton Mather, clutching his
bible, spurred the English to slaughter more Indians in the name of
Christianity.
Three hundred thousand Indians were murdered in New England over the next
few years. It is important to note: The ordinary Englishmen did not want this
war and often, very often, refused to fight. Some European intellectuals like
Roger Williams spoke out against it. And some erstwhile colonists joined the
Indians and even took up arms against the invaders from England. It was the
Puritan elite who wanted the war, a war for land, for gold, for power. And,
in the end, the Indian population of 10 million that was in North America
when Columbus came was reduced to less than one million.
The way the different Indian peoples lived -- communally, consensually,
making decisions through tribal councils, each tribe having different
sexual/marriage relationships, where many different sexualities were
practiced as the norm -- contrasted dramatically with the Puritan's Christian
fundamentalist values. For the Puritans, men decided everything, whereas in
the Iroquois federation of what is now New York state women chose the men who
represented the clans at village and tribal councils; it was the women who
were responsible for deciding on whether or not to go to war. The Christian
idea of male dominance and female subordination was conspicuously absent in
Iroquois society.
There were many other cultural differences: The Iroquois did not use harsh
punishment on children. They did not insist on early weaning or early toilet
training, but gradually allowed the child to learn to care for themselves.
And, they did not believe in ownership of land; they utilized the land, lived
on it. The idea of ownership was ridiculous, absurd. The European Christians,
on the other hand, in the spirit of the emerging capitalism, wanted to own
and control everything -- even children and other human beings. The pastor of
the Pilgrim colony, John Robinson, thus advised his parishioners: "And surely
there is in all children a stubbornness, and stoutness of mind arising from
natural pride, which must, in the first place, be broken and beaten down;
that so the foundation of their education being laid in humility and
tractableness, other virtues may, in their time, be built thereon." That idea
sunk in.
One colonist said that the plague that had destroyed the Patuxet people --
a combination of slavery, murder by the colonists and disease -- was "the
Wonderful Preparation of the Lord Jesus Christ by His Providence for His
People's Abode in the Western World." The Pilgrims robbed Wampanoag graves
for the food that had been buried with the dead for religious reasons.
Whenever the Pilgrims realized they were being watched, they shot at the
Wampanoags, and scalped them. Scalping had been unknown among Native
Americans in New England prior to its introduction by the English, who began
the practice by offering the heads of their enemies and later accepted
scalps.
"What do you think of Western Civilization?" Mahatma Gandhi was asked in
the 1940s. To which Gandhi replied: "Western Civilization? I think it would
be a good idea." And so enters "Civilization," the civilization of Christian
Europe, a "civilizing force" that couldn't have been more threatened by the
beautiful anarchy of the Indians they encountered, and so slaughtered
them.
These are the Puritans that the Indians "saved", and whom we celebrate in
the holiday, Thanksgiving. Tisquantum, also known as Squanto, a member of the
Patuxet Indian nation. Samoset, of the Wabonake Indian nation, which lived in
Maine. They went to Puritan villages and, having learned to speak English,
brought deer meat and beaver skins for the hungry, cold Pilgrims. Tisquantum
stayed with them and helped them survive their first years in their New
World. He taught them how to navigate the waters, fish and cultivate corn and
other vegetables. He pointed out poisonous plants and showed how other plants
could be used as medicines. He also negotiated a peace treaty between the
Pilgrims and Massasoit, head chief of the Wampanoags, a treaty that gave the
Pilgrims everything and the Indians nothing. And even that treaty was soon
broken. All this is celebrated as the First Thanksgiving.
My own feeling? The Indians should have let the Pilgrims die. But they
couldn't do that. Their humanity made them assist other human beings in need.
And for that beautiful, human, loving connection they -- and those of us who
are not Indian as well -- paid a terrible price: The genocide of the original
inhabitants of Turtle Island, what is now America.
Let's look at one example of the Puritan values -- which were not, I
repeat, the values of the English working class values that we "give thanks
for" on this holiday. The example of the Maypole, and Mayday.
In 1517, 25 years after Columbus first landed in the Bahamas, the English
working class staged a huge revolt. This was done through the guilds. King
Henry VIII brought Lombard bankers from Italy and merchants from France in
order to undercut wages, lengthen hours, and break the guilds. This alliance
between international finance, national capital and military aristocracy was
in the process of merging into the imperialist nation-state.
The young workers of London took their revenge upon the merchants. A
secret rumor said the commonality -- the vision of communal society that
would counter the rich, the merchants, the industrialists, the nobility and
the landowners -- would arise on May Day. The King and Lords got frightened
-- householders were armed, a curfew was declared. Two guys didn't hear about
the curfew (they missed Dan Rather on t.v.). They were arrested. The shout
went out to mobilize, and 700 workers stormed the jails, throwing bricks, hot
water, stones. The prisoners were freed. A French capitalist's house was
trashed.
Then came the repression: Cannons were fired into the city. Three hundred
were imprisoned, soldiers patrolled the streets, and a proclamation was made
that no women were allowed to meet together, and that all men should "keep
their wives in their houses." The prisoners were brought through the streets
tied in ropes. Some were children. Eleven sets of gallows were set up
throughout the city. Many were hanged. The authorities showed no mercy, but
exhibited extreme cruelty.
Thus the dreaded Thanatocracy, the regime of death, was inaugurated in
answer to proletarian riot at the beginning of capitalism. The May Day riots
were caused by expropriation (people having been uprooted from their lands
they had used for centuries in common), and by exploitation (people had no
jobs, as the monarchy imported capital). Working class women organizers and
healers who posed an alternative to patriarchal capitalism -- were burned at
the stake as witches. Enclosure, conquest, famine, war and plague ravaged the
people who, in losing their commons, also lost a place to put their
Maypole.
Suddenly, the Maypole became a symbol of rebellion. In 1550 Parliament
ordered the destruction of Maypoles (just as, during the Vietnam war, the
U.S.-backed junta in Saigon banned the making of all red cloth, as it was
being sewn into the blue, yellow and red flags of the National Liberation
Front).
In 1664, near the end of the Puritans' war against the Pequot Indians, the
Puritans in England abolished May Day altogether. They had defeated the
Indians, and they were attempting to defeat the growing proletarian
insurgency at home as well.
Although translators of the Bible were burned, its last book, Revelation,
became an anti-authoritarian manual useful to those who would turn the
Puritan world upside down, such as the Family of Love, the Anabaptists, the
Diggers, Levellers, Ranters, and Thomas Morton, the man who in 1626 went to
Merry Mount in Quincy Mass, and with his Indian friends put up the first
Maypole in America, in contempt of Puritan rule.
The Puritans destroyed it, exiled him, plagued the Indians, and hanged gay
people and Quakers. Morton had come over on his own, a boat person, an
immigrant. So was Anna Lee, who came over a few years later, the Manchester
proletarian who founded the communal living, gender separated Shakers, who
praised God in ecstatic dance, and who drove the Puritans up the wall.
The story of the Maypole as a symbol of revolt continued. It crossed
cultures and continued through the ages. In the late 1800s, the Sioux began
the Ghost Dance in a circle, "with a large pine tree in the center, which was
covered with strips of cloth of various colors, eagle feathers, stuffed
birds, claws, and horns, all offerings to the Great Spirit." They didn't call
it a Maypole and they danced for the unity of all Indians, the return of the
dead, and the expulsion of the invaders on a particular day, the 4th of July,
but otherwise it might as well have been a Mayday!
Wovoka, a Nevada Paiute, started it. Expropriated, he cut his hair. To buy
watermelon he rode boxcars to work in the Oregon hop fields for small wages,
exploited. The Puget Sound Indians had a new religion -- they stopped
drinking alcohol, became entranced, and danced for five days, jerking
twitching, calling for their land back, just like the Shakers! Wovoka took
this back to Nevada: "All Indians must dance, everywhere, keep on dancing."
Soon they were. Porcupine took the dance across the Rockies to the Sioux. Red
Cloud and Sitting Bull advanced the left foot following with the right,
hardly lifting the feet from the ground. The Federal Agents banned the Ghost
Dance! They claimed it was a cause of the last Sioux outbreak, just as the
Puritans had claimed the Maypole had caused the May Day proletarian riots,
just as the Shakers were dancing people into communality and out of
Puritanism.
On December 29 1890 the Government (with Hotchkiss guns throwing 2 pound
explosive shells at 50 a minute -- always developing new weapons!) massacred
more than 300 men, women and children at Wounded Knee. As in the Waco
holocaust, or the bombing of MOVE in Philadelphia, the State disclaimed
responsibility. The Bureau of Ethnology sent out James Mooney to investigate.
Amid Janet Reno-like tears, he wrote: "The Indians were responsible for the
engagement."
In 1970, the town of Plymouth Rock, Massachusetts held, as it does each
year, a Thanksgiving Ceremony given by the townspeople. There are many
speeches for the crowds who attend. That year -- the year of Nixon's secret
invasion of Cambodia; the year 4 students were massacred at Kent State and 13
wounded for opposing the war; the year they tried to electrocute Black
Panthers Bobby Seale and Erica Huggins -- the Massachusetts Department of
Commerce asked the Wampanoag Indians to select a speaker to mark the 350th
anniversary of the Pilgrims' arrival, and the first Thanksgiving.
Frank James, who is a Wampanoag, was selected. But before he was allowed
to speak he was told to show a copy of his speech to the white people in
charge of the ceremony. When they saw what he had written, they would not
allow him to read it.
First, the genocide. Then, the suppression of all discussion about it.
What do Indian people find to be Thankful for in this America? What does
anyone have to be Thankful for in the genocide of the Indians, that this
"holyday commemorates? As we sit with our families on Thanksgiving, taking
any opportunity we can to get out of work or off the streets and be in a warm
place with people we love, we realize that all the things we have to be
thankful for have nothing at all to do with the Pilgrims, nothing at all to
do with Amerikan history, and everything to do with the alternative,
anarcho-communist lives the Indian peoples led, before they were massacred by
the colonists, in the name of privatization of property and the lust for gold
and labor.
Yes, I am an American. But I am an American in revolt. I am revolted by
the holiday known as Thanksgiving. I have been accused of wanting to go
backwards in time, of being against progress. To those charges, I plead
guilty. I want to go back in time to when people lived communally, before the
colonists' Christian god was brought to these shores to sanctify their
terrorism, their slavery, their hatred of children, their oppression of
women, their holocausts. But that is impossible. So all I look forward to the
utter destruction of the apparatus of death known as Amerika -- not the
people, not the beautiful land, but the machinery, the State, the capitalism,
the Christianity and all that it stands for. I look forward to a future where
I will have children with Amerika, and they will be the new Indians.

The first official Thanksgiving wasn't a festive gathering of Indians and
Pilgrims, but rather a celebration of the massacre of 700 Pequot men, women
and children, an anthropologist says. Due to age and illness his voice cracks
as he talks about the holiday, but William B. Newell, 84, talks with force as
he discusses Thanksgiving. Newell, a Penobscot, has degrees from two
universities, and was the former chairman of the anthropology department at
the University of Connecticut.
"Thanksgiving Day was first officially proclaimed by the Governor of the
Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1637 to commemorate the massacre of 700 men,
women and children who were celebrating their annual green corn
dance-Thanksgiving Day to them-in their own house," Newell said.
"Gathered in this place of meeting they were attacked by mercenaries and
Dutch and English. The Indians were ordered from the building and as they
came forth they were shot down. The rest were burned alive in the building,"
he said.
Newell based his research on studies of Holland Documents and the 13
volume Colonial Documentary History, both thick sets of letters and reports
from colonial officials to their superiors and the king in England, and the
private papers of Sir William Johnson, British Indian agent for the New York
colony for 30 years in the mid-1600s.
"My research is authentic because it is documentary," Newell said. "You
can't get anything more accurate than that because it is first hand. It is
not hearsay."
Newell said the next 100 Thanksgivings commemorated the killing of the
Indians at what is now Groton, Ct. [home of a nuclear submarine base] rather
than a celebration with them. He said the image of Indians and Pilgrims
sitting around a large table to celebrate Thanksgiving Day was "fictitious"
although Indians did share food with the first settlers.

Genesis of the American Civil War
The historical event that looms largest in American public consciousness
is the Civil War. One-hundred thirty-nine years after the first shot was
fired, its genesis is still fiercely debated and its symbols heralded and
protested. And no wonder: the event transformed the American regime from a
federalist system based on freedom to a centralized state that circumscribed
liberty in the name of public order. The cataclysmic event massacred a
generation of young men, burned and looted the Southern states, set a
precedent for executive dictatorship, and transformed the American military
from a citizen-based defense corps into a global military power that
can’t resist intervention.
And yet, if you listen to the media on the subject, you might think that the
entire issue of the Civil War comes down to race and slavery. If you favor
Confederate symbols, it means you are a white person unsympathetic to the
plight of blacks in America. If you favor abolishing Confederate History
Month and taking down the flag, you are an enlightened thinker willing to
bury the past so we can look forward to a bright future under progressive
leadership. The debate rarely goes beyond these simplistic slogans.
And yet this take on the event is wildly ahistorical. It takes Northern war
propaganda at face value without considering that the South had solid legal,
moral, and economic reasons for secession which had nothing to do with
slavery.
Even the name "Civil War" is misleading, since the war wasn’t about
two sides fighting to run the central government as in the English or Roman
civil wars. The South attempted a peaceful secession from federal control, an
ambition no different from the original American plea for independence from
Britain.
But why would the South want to secede? If the original American ideal of
federalism and constitutionalism had survived to 1860, the South would not
have needed to. But one issue loomed larger than any other in that year as in
the previous three decades: the Northern tariff. It was imposed to benefit
Northern industrial interests by subsidizing their production through public
works. But it had the effect of forcing the South to pay more for
manufactured goods and disproportionately taxing it to support the central
government. It also injured the South’s trading relations with other
parts of the world.
In effect, the South was being looted to pay for the North’s early
version of industrial policy. The battle over the tariff began in 1828, with
the "tariff of abomination." Thirty year later, with the South paying 87
percent of federal tariff revenue while having their livelihoods threatened
by protectionist legislation, it become impossible for the two regions to be
governed under the same regime. The South as a region was being reduced to a
slave status, with the federal government as its master.
But why 1860? Lincoln promised not to interfere with slavery, but he did
pledge to "collect the duties and imposts": he was the leading advocate of
the tariff and public works policy, which is why his election prompted the
South to secede. In pro-Lincoln newspapers, the phrase "free trade" was
invoked as the equivalent of industrial suicide. Why fire on Ft. Sumter? It
was a customs house, and when the North attempted to strengthen it, the South
knew that its purpose was to collect taxes, as newspapers and politicians
said at the time.
To gain an understanding of the Southern mission, look no further than the
Confederate Constitution. It is a duplicate of the original Constitution,
with several improvements. It guarantees free trade, restricts legislative
power in crucial ways, abolishes public works, and attempts to rein in the
executive. No, it didn’t abolish slavery but neither did the original
Constitution (in fact, the original protected property rights in
slaves).
Before the war, Lincoln himself had pledged to leave slavery intact, to
enforce the fugitive slaves laws, and to support an amendment that would
forever guarantee slavery where it then existed. Neither did he lift a finger
to repeal the anti-Negro laws that besotted all Northern states, Illinois in
particular. Recall that the underground railroad ended, not in New York or
Boston-since dropping off blacks in those states would have been
restricted-but in Canada! The Confederate Constitution did, however, make
possible the gradual elimination of slavery, a process that would have been
made easier had the North not so severely restricted the movements of former
slaves.
Now, you won’t read this version of events in any conventional history
text, particularly not those approved for use in public high schools. You are
not likely to hear about it in the college classroom either, where the single
issue of slavery overwhelms any critical thinking. Again and again we are
told what Polybius called "an idle, unprofitable tale" instead of the truth,
and we are expected to swallow it uncritically. So where can you go to
discover that the conventional story is sheer nonsense?
The last ten years have brought us a flurry of great books that look beneath
the surface. There is John Denson’s "The Costs of War" (1998), Jeffrey
Rodgers Hummel’s "Emancipating Slaves, Enslaving Free Men" (1996),
David Gordon’s "Secession, State, and Liberty" (1998), Marshall de
Rosa’s "The Confederate Constitution" (1991), or, from a more popular
standpoint, James and Walter Kennedy’s "Was Jefferson Davis Right?"
(1998).
But if we were to recommend one work-based on originality, brevity, depth,
and sheer rhetorical power-it would be Charles Adams’s time bomb of a
book, "When in the Course of Human Events: Arguing the Case for Southern
Secession" (Rowman & Littlefield, 2000). In a mere 242 pages, he shows
that almost everything we thought we knew about the war between the states is
wrong.
Adams believes that both Northern and Southern leaders were lying when they
invoked slavery as a reason for secession and for the war. Northerners were
seeking a moral pretext for an aggressive war, while Southern leaders were
seeking a threat more concrete than the Northern tariff to justify a drive to
political independence. This was rhetoric designed for mass consumption .
Adams amasses an amazing amount of evidence-including remarkable editorial
cartoons and political speeches-to support his thesis that the war was really
about government revenue.
Consider this little tidbit from the pro-Lincoln New York Evening Post,
March 2, 1861 edition:
"That either the revenue from duties must be collected in the ports of the
rebel states, or the port must be closed to importations from abroad, is
generally admitted. If neither of these things be done, our revenue laws are
substantially repealed; the sources which supply our treasury will be dried
up; we shall have no money to carry on the government; the nation will become
bankrupt before the next crop of corn is ripe. There will be nothing to
furnish means of subsistence to the army; nothing to keep our navy afloat;
nothing to pay the salaries of public officers; the present order of things
must come to a dead stop.
"What, then, is left for our government? Shall we let the seceding states
repeal the revenue laws for the whole Union in this manner? Or will the
government choose to consider all foreign commerce destined for those ports
where we have no custom-houses and no collectors as contraband, and stop it,
when offering to enter the collection districts from which our authorities
have been expelled?"
This is not an isolated case. British newspapers, whether favoring the North
or South, said the same thing: the feds invaded the South to collect revenue.
Indeed, when Karl Marx said the following, he was merely stating what
everyone who followed events closely knew: "The war between the North and the
South is a tariff war. The war is further, not for any principle, does not
touch the question of slavery, and in fact turns on the Northern lust for
sovereignty."
Marx was only wrong on one point: the war was about principle at one level.
It was about the principle of self-determination and the right not to be
taxed to support an alien regime. Another way of putting this is that the war
was about freedom, and the South was on the same side as the original
American revolutionaries.
Interesting, isn’t it, that today, those who favor banning Confederate
symbols and continue to demonize an entire people’s history also tend
to be partisans of the federal government in all its present political
struggles? Not much has changed in 139 years. Adams’s book goes a long
way toward telling the truth about this event, for anyone who cares to look
at the facts.

The Pearl Harbor Deception
On 7 December 1941 the greatest disaster in United
States history occurred. Truly this was and is, "'A date which will live in
infamy.'"(Costello 1), but not for the bombing of Pearl Harbor, rather for
the deception and the mis-guidance used by the Government and Franklin D.
Roosevelt. In a purely artificial chess game Roosevelt sacrificed over 2400
American Seamen's lives, thanks to his power as Commander in Chief of the
Armed Forces. By over-looking the obvious facts of an attack by Japan on
Pearl Harbor, Roosevelt was able to control both the political and economic
systems of the United States. Most of American society before the Pearl
Harbor bombing believed in the idea of isolationism.
Franklin D. Roosevelt knew this, and knew the only way in which United
States countrymen would take arms and fight in Europe's War was to be an
overt action against the United States by a member of the Axis Power.
Roosevelt also believed Hitler would not declare war on the United States
unless he knew they were beatable. There are numerous accounts of actions by
Roosevelt and his top armed forces advisors, which reveal they were not only
aware of an attack by Japan, but also they were planning on it, and
instigating that attack. On 7 October 1940, Lieutenant Commander Arthur H.
McCollum, head of the Far East desk of the Office of Naval Intelligence,
wrote the eight-action memo.
This memo outlined eight different steps the United States could do that
he predicted would lead to an attack by Japan on the United States. The day
after this memo was giving to Franklin D. Roosevelt, he began to implement
these steps. By the time that Japan finally attacked the United States at
Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941, all eight steps had occurred (Willy 1). The
eight steps consisted of two main subject areas; the first being a sign of
United States military preparedness and threat of attack, the second being a
forceful control on Japans trade and economy. The main subject area of the
eight-action memo was the sign of United States military preparedness and
threat of attack. McCollum called for the United States to make arrangements
with both Britain (Action A) and Holland (Action B), for the use of military
facilities and acquisition of supplies in both Singapore and Indonesia.
He also suggested for the deployment of a division of long-range heavy
cruisers (Action D) and two divisions of submarines (Action E) to the Orient.
The last key factor McCollum called for was to keep the United States Fleet
in the vicinity of the Hawaiian Islands (Action F). Roosevelt personally took
charge of Action's D and E; these actions were called "pop up" cruises.
Roosevelt had this to say about the cruises, "'I just want them to keep
popping up here and there and keep the Japs guessing (Stinnett 9).'" With the
fleet located around Hawaii and particularly in Pearl Harbor a double-sided
sword was created; it allowed for quicker deployment times into South Pacific
Water, but more importantly it lacked many fundamental military needs, and
was vulnerable due to its geographic location. To understand the true
vulnerability of Pearl Harbor one must look at Oahu, the Hawaiian Island that
the military base is located. The North part of the island is all mountains,
these mountains hinder the vision of military look out points, making an
attack from the North virtually a surprise until the sound of fighter planes
are over head.
There were many key military needs that were missing from Pearl Harbor,
and they were; a lack of training facilities, lack of large-scale ammunition
and fuel supplies, lack of support craft such as tugs and repair ships, and a
lack of overhaul facilities such as dry-docking and machine shops. Commander
in Chief, United States Fleet - Admiral James O. Richardson, was outraged
when he was told by President Roosevelt of his plans on keeping the fleet in
Hawaiian Waters. Richardson knew of the problems and vulnerability of Pearl
Harbor, the safety of his men and warships was paramount. In a luncheon with
Roosevelt, Richardson confronted the President, and by doing so ended his
military career. Four months later Richardson was removed as
commander-in-chief, and replaced by Rear Admiral Husband Kimmel (Stinnett
11).
Kimmel by many top Naval personal was looked down upon on, for taking
orders from Roosevelt and not considering the immediate dangers he was
putting the fleet in. The second part of McCollum's eight-action memo was a
forceful control on Japans trade and economy. He insisted that the Dutch
refuse to grant Japanese demands for oil (Action G), and a complete embargo
of all trade with Japan (Action H), by the United States. This embargo
closely represented a similar embargo that was being imposed by the British
Empire. McCollum also knew that if Japan controlled the Pacific, it would put
a strain on America's resources for copper, rubber, tin, and other valuable
goods. These imports from the Pacific were all essential to America's
Economy, and to protect these trading routes McCollum insisted for all
possible aid to be given to the Chinese government of Chiang Kai-shek (Action
C).
Japan had some control over China due to a military operation, which took
over part of the country. Thanks to the control, Japan took and used many raw
goods from China that were not in abundance in their own homeland. The
government of Chiang Kai-shek was completely against Japan, and with economic
support from the United States, they were able to deny certain possessions
from Japan. The United States Government and United States Navy by
withholding important information about the bombing of Pearl Harbor have done
everything they can do to protect the integrity of President Franklin D.
Roosevelt and the government. True nationalist believe this information is
withheld from the general public in order to protect national security, and
not to hide a conspiracy that was created by the United States Government
some fifty years ago.
This school of thought asks people and wants them to think, "How in the
world could the President of the United States sacrifice over 2400 American
seamen's life's, horrific amounts of damages to the Fleet, and tremendous
amounts of destruction to Army fighter planes?" This group also asks, "In the
past fifty years why has there not be one single piece of hard evidence which
links Roosevelt to Pearl Harbor, or why has there not been one person who had
top security clearance to come out and say something about Roosevelt and his
involvement with the bombing?"
On 5 December 1941 at a Cabinet meeting, Secretary of the Navy Frank Knox
said, "Well, you know Mr. President, we know where the Japanese fleet is?"
"Yes, I know, ...Well, you tell them what it is Frank," said Roosevelt
(Toland 294). Knox became extremely excited with the ok from Roosevelt, and
he went to tell the group of where the Japanese were and where they were
headed. Just as Knox was about to speak Roosevelt interrupted saying, " We
haven't got anything like perfect information as to their apparent
destination (Toland 294)." All Navy reports showed the Japanese were in
Pacific Water, and were in a direction towards Hawaii and Pearl Harbor.
Roosevelt knew this information, but one must wonder why in the world would
he not want to tell his cabinet this information, unless he wanted to hide
something? On 6 December 1941 at a White House dinner Roosevelt was given the
first thirteen parts of a fifteen part decoded Japanese diplomatic
declaration of war and said, "This means War (Toland 318)."
Later that night, Roosevelt along with top advisor Harry Hopkins, Henry
Stimson, George Marshall, Secretary of the Navy Knox, with aides John McCrea
and Frank Beatty deliberately sat through the night waiting for the Japanese
to strike Pear Harbor (Toland 320). Not until the morning of 7 December 1941
at 7:55 Hawaii Time did Japan deliberately and forcefully attack the United
States at Pearl Harbor, finally ending disillusioned isolationist ideas of an
only European War. United States countrymen immediately ran to recruiting
offices after the news of the attack, to join the armed forces and fight
against the Japanese and Hitler.
Beyond a doubt Pearl Harbor was President Franklin D. Roosevelt's back
door into the European War. Roosevelt's decisions and actions were very much
so, deliberate and calculated, in order to lead a victorious Allied Powers in
World War II. By provoking the Japanese and the foreknowledge of an attack on
Pearl Harbor, Roosevelt along with his top advisors and the Federal
Government are truly to blame for the lost of American life's and American
property. 7 December 1941 shall be a day in American history, which will be
remembered as "a day of deceit."
